I was visiting author and entomologist May Berenbaum recently at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and her collection of old insecticides caught my eye

Dr. Berenbaum is a very nice person – many tears after the fact, my wife, a non-entomologist, remains very impressed by a talk Dr. Berenbaum gave at an Entomological Society of Washington banquet; I once made a very small contribution to her collection. a glass lid to a pesticide container that I found while cleaning out a sinkhole in WV.
